All the recent details about the new As Roma stadium in Pietralata
The feasibility study delivered by the Giallorossi club to Campidoglio was unveiled. An investment of more than 582 million for a facility that is more than a dream
"A.S. Roma S.p.A. intends to put itself forward as the proponent of the proposal for the construction of the New Stadium of Rome under Law 147/2013 "Stadiums Law." In these few words, there is the whole change of pace encapsulated in the thousands of pages that make up the preliminary project for the Roma stadium. That feasibility study was delivered last week to the Campidoglio, and yesterday it mysteriously made the rounds. It was a leak that did not please the Giallorossi club, but it allowed us all to get a better taste of what we hope will be the team's new home. A 60,000-seat stadium (or rather with "an optimal range between 55,000 and 65,000"), reaching "UEFA Category 5," the maximum category that can host international events," that can be experienced all year round. It is a stadium that will be built on public land, for which Roma has requested a "90-year concession." It is an investment that will exceed €582 million, which will be covered by a "senior bank financing of €339.6 million," venture capital of €145.6 million, and a VAT financing line of €96.9 million.
It is money that will be used not only for the construction of the facility (about which little is still known, except that the Curva Sud will consist of a single ring, a sort of yellow and red wall) but also for all the surroundings, which will be no small matter. Two parks, one called "Stadium Park" on which the facility will be built, and another to the east called, "Central Park," which "will relate to the Pietralata neighborhood by offering equipped green areas (including a 800 sq. m. playground, a 1,565 sq. m. outdoor sports center with 5 tennis courts, 5 padel courts filling 1,200 sq. m., 3 basketball courts filling 1,512 sq. m., and a 2,772 sq. m. soccer field), a new 3,500 sq. m. outdoor amphitheater at the main access from the north, and a new 2,000 sq. m. square for outdoor events to the south." It is over 190,000 sq. m. of which "6,500 will be for environmental mitigation objectives vis-à-vis Pertini Hospital." Otherwise, the images explain how it’s the dream of Roma's new home.
